White storks roost in the Oasi dei Quadris near Fagagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, province of Udine, Italy (@ Gabriele Croppi/SIME/4Corners)
comments,
- One stork wakes up in a cold sweat and says to the other:""”You got the baby?”
- When the babies won\t nap, it\s nearly impossible for mom to get five minutes of peace…""Even when she sits on them
- Square footage of these nests? Enormous. The renters? Loud and obnoxious. Their offspring? Clattering for food all the time.""So why do people cherish these rooftop guests?
- This pair has chosen to nest in a region of Italy with the Alps at one end and the Adriatic at the other.""Think they settled here for the fine wines?
